Dear Tim Hortons:
In years past, you always threw me a few bones come Roll Up The Rim season. This year, I have a big goose egg. No free donuts, small coffees, let alone anything valuable. I have had probably over a hundred coffee’s from you assholes, and I am winless. Now, being a stats guy, I know that it is random, and blah blah blah, but then I notice the “Winners at this Store” sign in Mac Hall, and I notice that it is like 800 or something wins. Now, my guess is, judging from the line ups that are there from the moment that kiosk opens to the moment it closes, you guys sell roughly a million coffees a day at that place alone, those aren’t very good odds.
1 Million Coffee’s a day since Feb 26 (the opening date – so roughly 40 days) = 40 Million Coffees sold to UofC students alone.
800/40 000 000 wins. I don’t like those odds. You are on notice.

Tim Horton is being entirely fair to us Montrealers, my husband just won a free donut, yes, a FREE DONUT, and we have bought a total of 3 TH coffees since roll up the rim season opener.

And just think, now there’s some kind of gadget on the market that makes it easier to roll up the rim on those cups. Sure, you might still lose, but at least you won’t break a nail or ingure your finger.

The contest is a crock. Back when they first did it in Michigan, my boyfriend got a cup that was a “winner” for a grill. They gave us the runaround on it for about four months before he gave up and threw the cup out. It’s just a gimmick to get you to buy more coffee!
I’m so sick of the commercials. We were very loyal customers for a long time – and I still love their tea – I just wish they could get some integrity.
OK – some people get a little free coffee – that’s barely an investment on their part.

I bought one this morning and after finishing my cofffee and gettig ready to roll up the rim, I find it has already been rolled up!!!
Either someones dirty cup was given to me or an employee with dirty fingers had his hands all over where I was drinking from…

ITS THE BIGGEST SCAM , THEY ARE GETTING CHEAPER AND CHEAPER , LAST YEAR WE HAD OUT OF A HUNDRED COFFEES LIKE 20 WINS (FREE COFFEE) THIS YEAR OUT OF 4 PEOPLE (APPROX 400 COFFEES LARGE) 4 WINS.. THEY ARE CHEAP ASSHOLES IN ONTARIO…
